I'm Melisa and the purpose of this blog was to share my week in Kenner, Louisiana with you (April 6-12, 2008). A team from our church - Live Oak Vineyard - was working with other volunteers from around the country to help with the relief efforts around New Orleans in the aftermath of Katrina.

Here are the other two who traveled with us. Meet Liz and Josh…

Floyd & Jean Butler were also with us but they arrived two days early to hang with Mitch & Sarah (their kids!) and their grandbaby Matthew Wade…. oh my gosh, what a doll! I will post pictures of him for all of you who want to see how much Matty has grown!
