Day One…
Well its day one and we have arrived! All is well and thank you for your prayers! Our trip was safe and easy and quite enjoyable. We arrived in Louisiana around 1:30pm today and after a nice hearty lunch at Chili’s we traveled to the lower 9th ward of New Orleans to get an idea of the devestation. I know that this is nowhere near where it was after Katrina but you can still get an idea of what has happened here. The devestation is unbelievable but there is so much new growth and so much life in this vibrant place.
